Since 2009, God has been leading Summit Community Church into a missional partnership in Siem Reap, Cambodia. What began with an invitation from International Workers has grown into a long‑standing commitment to serve among Cambodians and displaced, stateless Vietnamese refugees near Tonlé Sap Lake.

In 2013, Summit sent our first short‑term mission team. Over the years, we have remained faithful to God’s call—building relationships, teaching the Bible, and imparting life skills. Through these efforts, hope has been shared and lives have been touched by the love of Christ.

While the ministry had a setback for few years as our Alliance international workers were redeployed to Phnom Penh, God is starting to rejuvenate Summit's ministry by partnering together with workers on the ground in Siem Reap.

Today, the ministry continues to expand. Children are being discipled, families are being reached, and lives are being transformed through the hope of Jesus Christ. As the ministry continues to grow, Summit has the opportunity to invest in what God is doing. God is opening new doors, including the vision for a future ministry centre that will serve as a hub for teaching, discipleship, and community outreach. This centre will help ensure that the work in Siem Reap flourishes for generations to come.
