PRAY! You can come on this journey with us and experience the joy of being in God’s presence as you intercede on behalf of the Summit Team. Here are some initial things to pray for the team – even before we go:
That God’s favour would be on the team and that the ministry work we do in Cambodia will be effective. 2 Thess. 2:16-17 “Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, 17 comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.”
Spiritual Warfare: 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 Pray we will have sensitivity in our hearts to God’s voice so that we are aware of the spiritual forces at work in the lives of those we’re ministering to. The weapons of our warfare are God’s Truth, the Holy Spirit, God’s Name and the Armour of God. Ephesians 6:10-20
God’s Divine appointments: Psalm 37:23 “our steps are ordered by God.” Pray that God would direct our steps at every turn. We would trust in Him to guide, direct, open and close doors to fulfill His Great Commission. Pray we will expect the unexpected.
Pray for Teaching the lessons, Testimonies, the “Girl & Boy Talks,” Prayer walks through the villages, Life Skill training and Activities with the Vietnamese children and parents. Matthew 16:24 “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow Me.”
